Flantech’s Sea Source Vegetable Formula provides specially selected, high-quality products from the sea that are harvested with care and contain a wide array of nutrients.  This formula is designed to assist in weight management and thyroid function.

Ingredients:

Kelp, Norwegian (ascophyllum nodosum): also known as rockweed, is harvested in Iceland using certified organic processes.

Bladderwrack (fucus vesiculosis): is harvested in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada.

Sodium alginate (laminaria spp): is also a type of kelp and grows deep in the cold sub-tidal waters of Northwestern Iceland.

Sea Cucumber: is a marine animal that feeds on microscopic algae has been used for thousands of years as an Asian culinary delicacy.  Sea cucumber and has been treasured since ancient times for prevention of disease and as a longevity tonic with a wide array of nutrients.
 
Dulse (palmaria palmate): comes from the Bay of Fundy, renowned for the world’s finest dulse.  It is hand-harvested, low-temperature sun-dried and milled using certified organic processes.

Wakame (undaria pinnatifida): is a seaweed that is a traditional Japanese favorite.

Irish Moss (chondrus crispus): is harvested from the shores of Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.  It is sun-dried and sun-bleached to make available the carageenan, while preserving the other beneficial qualities of the whole plant.

Nori (porphyra yezoensis): comes from the nori farm in Jainsu Province, China and is tested for heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides and microbiological pathogens to ensure that there is no contamination.

Sea Lettuce (ulva lactuca): is considered the “salad green” of sea vegetables and also comes from the Bay of Fundy and is high in protein.
